The following is a poem I received many years ago from a very special lady. I have been blessed beyond words having her enrich my life by sharing her experiences, and most importantly her unconditional love.
Taking me into her warm embrace, and whispering to me how special I am, leaves me feeling all is as it should be. She is truly one of the Lords many vessels, and on more than one occasion, the mere thought of her is enough to cause the phone to ring, with her stating she was just thinking about me and had to call.
She has been my safe haven in a world that sometimes didn't seem so safe, and hasn't hesitated to reprimand me if the occasion called for it. I love you Aunt Janet, and want to thank you for being you. You are an exceptional lady, and I want you to know how grateful I am that my life has been blessed and enriched because you are such an important part of it.
God Has Created Me

God has created me to do Him some definite service. He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another.
I have my mission. I may never know it in this life, but I shall be told in the next. I am a link in His chain, a bond of connection between persons. He has not created me for naught.
I shall do good. I shall do His work. I shall be an angel of peace, a preacher of truth in my own place, while not intending it. If I do but keep his commandments, whatever, wherever I am, I can never be thrown away.
If I am in sickness, my sickness may serve Him. In perplexity, my perplexity may serve Him. If in sorrow, my sorrow may serve Him. He does nothing in vain. He knows what He is about.
He may take away my friends. He may throw me among strangers. He may make me feel desolate, make my spirits sink, hide my future from me. Still, He knows what He is about. Therefore, I will trust Him!!
